UK/UT Recap!
Cats pull out another road victory in SEC play over Tennessee, 65-62. One of the worse called games I had watched in quite a while. Between charging calls and a Technical that Coach Calipari received from a referee from the other side of the court, it was a ugly called game. Kidd-Gilchrist, and Davis stepped up to the plate and made big plays down the stretch as always. Sounds like a broken record when talking about those two. Kidd-Gilchrist led the way for the Cats, scoring 17 points, and grabbing 12 rebounds. Davis aka spiderman(Cal likes to call him)played great by adding 18 points, 8 boards, and 4 blocks. Terrence Jones played exceptionally good but did foul out with about four minutes left in the game. Teague had 7 points on 3 of 8 shooting with 5 turnovers but came up big late into the game.
Like I mentioned before, the officiating, and I also may add the announcing was horrible as well. Jimmy Dykes let us know numerous of times that Jarnell Stokes wore a size 20 shoe, and that he had only practiced three or four times. Stokes did provide some great play for Tennessee with 9 points on 4 of 5 shooting but by listening to Jimmy Dykes' you'd think he was the best player in the country. I'm through with complaining, glad we got the win. The cats are back home on Tuesday when they play the Razorbacks of Arkansas. That's all for now, look for highlights later in the evening.
