Kentucky Rolls St. John's 81-59

The Kentucky Wildcats kept their foot on the gas tonight as they defeat St. John by a score of 81-59.  In what was anticipated to be a much closer game, the Wildcats put on a show. It was dunk city for most of the night.  Not even Dick Vitale's constant referrals to UNC couldn't slow Kentucky down.
Terrence Jones played like a man possessed.  Tonight was by far his most impressive outing during the regular season.  Personally, I think he wanted to make sure he played well in front of his mom who was in attendance tonight.  The Terrence Jones tip in dunk after a missed free throw was a guaranteed ESPN top play.  To top it off, that wasn't even the best play of the night.
Play of the day honors goes to Darius Miller.  He did his best Vince Carter impression by throwing down a one hander after a spot on lob pass from Doron Lamb.  It makes me wiggle a little bit every time I see it.  Miller had an outstanding performance overall.  He ended up with 9 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds.
Without a doubt, the player of the game was Anthony Davis.  During the first half, Davis had his name called on all most every play.  On offense he gave us his normal slam jam bam performance.  Tonight, Davis had a defensive effort that came so close to getting him a triple double. Anthony Davis had a stat line that read 15 points, 15 rebounds, and 8 blocks.
