Cats win ugly, 60-51.

Kentucky wins their first game in the SEC tournament, 60-51 by beating LSU. Jones went on a personal run 9-0 run as he finished with 15 points, and 11 rebounds. Davis played a great game with 12 points, 14 rebounds, and 5 blocks. Kidd-Gilchrist led the cats in scoring with 19 points, and added 9 boards. The game was really sluggish, Teague turned the ball over numerous times, Miller, and Wiltjer went scoreless off the bench but Kentucky like they've done all year found a way to win. Anthony Hickey, last years Kentucky Mr. Basketball led the way for LSU with 10 points, and 5 steals. After watching the game and thinking about how it was played, maybe this win was as good as a loss would have been for the cats. Showing the youngsters that they need to bring a higher level intensity and make that strong run in March. Cats play tomorrow at 1pm ET, against the winner of Alabama and Florida on ABC. Only 8 more wins until Kentucky reaches their ultimate goal. Hanging number eight. Look for highlights, and post game interviews throughout the night.
