One of the all time greats in sports entertainment passed away today. The Macho Man Randy Savage passed on after a car crash that was reportedly caused by a heart attack.

Josh Harrellson First Round Draft pick?????
4 Years ago, would you ever dreamed that First Round Draft Pick and Josh Harrellson would be mentioned in the same sentence? Thanks to the hard work that Jorts has put in to get better over his college career, David Aldridge of NBA.COM has Josh Harrellson picked at #29 in the first round of his NBA Mock Draft.
Missing from the David Aldridge list is one DeAndre Liggins......
Trevor Lacey signs with...
Trevor Lacey announced his college decision today. Down to three schools, Kentucky, Alabama, and Kansas....Lacey decided to stay close to home and play for the University of Alabama. Lacey would have made the cats deeper at the guard position but all is well in the blue grass state. Former Wake Forest player, Tony Woods has been reported to be heading to UK, Woods a 6'11, 250 pound, Center who had some off the court problems with his girl friend, has left Wake Forest, and is looking for a new place to play and Kentucky looks to be a probable destination. Woods will have two years remaining of eligibility. Woods was ranked the 20th best player in the 2008 recruiting class.

One and Done Rule to Change? Don't get your hopes up !
With the impending NBA lockout, many college fans and media have speculated that the new NBA Collective Bargaining agreement would put an end to the "One and Done" rule. The NCAA would love the NBA to move the rule to a new age limit and a 2 year college requirement. The LATimes have an article this morning that is putting a huge damper on the hopes that the rule will change. In the article, they write to not put your hopes in a change to the "One and Done" rule, as it is not likely to happen.

Kentucky Sports Radio is reporting that Trevor Lacey WILL BE making his college decision and announcement today at 2 PM. This comes despite rumors he make postpone the announcement by a couple of weeks because of his confusion to pick between Kansas and Kentucky.

DeAndre Liggins has scheduled a press conference for Monday at 2:00 PM. I think because it is a press conference and not just a statement, DeAndre Liggins will be staying in the NBA Draft.

DeAndre Liggins Draft Decision - Update NBA or Wildcat?
DeAndre Liggins will be making his NBA Draft decision today. He has until 12 midnight to make an official decision. Once DeAndre Liggins makes his final choice, UK will announce it on Monday with either a press conference or an official statement. I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that if there is a press conference, Liggins will be staying in the NBA Draft. If there is only a statement released then Liggins will be a Wildcat next season. Let's find out if I'm right during the next 24 hours .

Brandon Knight NBA Decision Announcement - Draft Decision
News broke only moments ago that Brandon Knight will be holding a press conference tomorrow at 10:15 AM to announce his NBA Draft Decision ! I'm pretty confident that he will be leaving UK to head to the league, but feel that his lone press conference gives more hope that both Jones and Liggins will be returning.
Coach Calipari accepts Dominican National Team Job
Today, Coach Cal officially announced that he accepted the head coaching job for the Dominican National Team in the FIBA tournament this year. Eloy Vargas will be participating and I would assume is a major reason Cal accepted the job. I guess we'll be cheering on the Dominican team this summer ! Go Big Blue. Tony Wroten, former UK recruit, committed possible academic fraud
According to Nationofblue.com , Tony Wroten Jr. took a class in High School that did not exist. Apparently, his High School made up a Spanish class and gave him a grade for it. What's the punishment? Nothing. That's right , nothing. What if this was Doron Lamb? I would imagine if this was a UK recruit, the NCAA hammer would have fell down !

Bleacherreport.com , just hours ago, released their latest mock NBA draft . They have Terrence Jones being drafted # 8. It also has Enes Kanter at #3, with Brandon Knight at # 5. If Jones and Knight continue to project this high, I do not foresee them coming back to UK for another season.
